GDS ல் இருந்து GROUP D ஆக பதவிஉயர்வு பெற்ற அனைத்து GDS ஊழியர்களுக்கும் அவர்களின் GDS சேவை காலம் முழுவதையும் ஓய்வூதிய கணக்கீட்டிற்கு எடுத்து கொள்ளலாம் .
ஏனைய ஊதியங்கள் -அலவன்சுகள் நிரந்தர ஊழியர்களை போல் கொடுக்க முடியாது .
குரூப் D ஆக பதவி உயர்வு பெறாவிட்டாலும் GDS சேவைக்காலத்தில் 5/8 என்ற அடிப்படையில் பென்ஷன் கொடுக்கலாம் என்றும் தீர்ப்பில் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது இது UP ,.பீகார் ,ஹிமாச்சல் உள்ளிட்ட மாநிலங்களை சேர்ந்த சுமார் 1894 GDS ஊழியர்கள் தொடர்ந்த வழக்கு
.GDS சங்கத்தை பிளவு படுத்திவிட்டு சென்றவர்கள் சுப்ரீம் கோர்ட்டில் வழக்கு போடுகிறோம் என்றவர்கள் இனியாவது அந்த வழக்கை காட்டி GDS ஊழியர்களை ஏமாற்ற கூடாது .அவர்கள் எந்த வழக்கை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டு ( 1972 ராஜம்மா வழக்கு )GDS ஊழியர்களுக்கு சிவில் அந்தஸ்து அடிப்படையில் எல்லா சலுகைகளையும் வழங்கு என்று புதிதாக நீதிமன்றம் சென்றவர்களுக்கு இது ஒரு படிப்பினை மட்டுமல்ல --ஒரு பாடமும் ஆகும் .
கைக்குழந்தையாய் இருக்கும் போது நிலாவை காட்டி சோறு ஊட்டலாம் --இன்னும் பிள்ளையை கைக்குழந்தையாக நினைத்து இன்னும் எத்தனை நாட்களுக்கு நிலா சோறு ஊட்ட முடியும் ?

IMPORTANT JUDGEMENT FROM HON'BLE CAT PRINCIPAL BENCH DELHI-REGARDING GDS.
To summarise, we dispose of the O.As. with the following directions to the respondents:
(a) For all Gramin Dak Sevaks, who have been absorbed as regular Group ‘D’ staff, the period spent as Gramin Dak Sevak will be counted in toto for the purpose of pensionary benefits.
(b) Pension will be granted under the provisions of CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 to all Gramin Dak Sevaks, who retire as Gramin Dak Sevak without absorption as regular Group ‘D’ staff, but the period to be counted for the purpse of pension will be 5/8th of the period spent as Gramin Dak Sevak. Rule 6 will accordingly be amended.
(c) The Gramin Dak Sevaks (Conduct and Engagement) Rules, 2011 are held to be valid except Rule 6, as stated above.
(d) The claim of Gramin Dak Sevaks for parity with regular employees regarding pay and allowances and other benefits available to regular employees, stands rejected.

IMPORTANT JUDGEMENT FROM HON'BLE CAT PRINCIPAL BENCH DELHI-REGARDING GDS.
To summarise, we dispose of the O.As. with the following directions to the respondents:
(a) For all Gramin Dak Sevaks, who have been absorbed as regular Group ‘D’ staff, the period spent as Gramin Dak Sevak will be counted in toto for the purpose of pensionary benefits.

நமது மத்திய சங்க தலைவர் திரு மஹாதேவய்யா அவர்கள் அஞ்சல் துறை அமைச்சர் அவர்களுக்கு கடந்த 29-11-2016 அன்று எழுதிய கடிதம் பின்வருமாறு...
"கடந்த இரு நாட்களாக GDS கமிட்டி அறிக்கை நகல் தருமாறு அஞ்சல் துறையிடம் கேட்டு கொண்டு இருக்கிறோம், ஆனால் அஞ்சல் துறையிடம் இருந்து எந்த தகவலும் இல்லை ஆதலால் எங்களுடைய சங்கத்திற்கு GDS கமிட்டி அறிக்கை நகல் உடன் தர ஆவண செய்யுமாறு கேட்டு கொள்கிறோம். எங்கள் தோழர்கள் இதனை ஆவலோடு எதிர்நோக்கி காத்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்."
