IT IS BECAUSE OF OUR COMMITMENT TO FIGHT ALL INJUSTICE AND SUPPORT FOR THE RIGHT CAUSE, INCLUDING DEMAND FOR PAY COMMISSIONS ALL ALONG, THE PRESENT DIGNIFIED FINANCIAL POSITION OF ALL WORKERS AND OFFICERS.

So, it is our fervent appeal to all officers, workers, with special reference to the entire postal fraternity without caste creed and affinity TO SUPPORT THE JUSTIFIED STRUGGLE OF GRAMIN DAK SEVAKS TO ACHIEVE THEIR LEGITIMATE DEMANDS.

WE ARE NOT DEMANDING ANYTHING UNREASONABLE. IT IS THE JUSTIFIED DEMAND AGREED TO CONSIDER, COMMITMENT RATHER!

THE OVERWHELVMING PARTICIPATION IN THE INDEFINITE STRIKE ACTION DEMANDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION OF THE GOVENRNMENT AND THE POSTAL DEPARTMENT TO BREAK SILENCE AND TO SETTLE THE ISSUE FORTHWITH.

OUR DEMAND IS GENUINE, SIMPLE AND JUSTIFIED.

PLEASE HONOUR YOUR COMMITMENT OF LAST STRIKE AGREEMENT. THIS IS MARCH, CRUCIAL TIME OF YEAR ENDING.

GDS STRIKE WILL CONTINUE ON 7th DAY All are requested to Intensify Strike. According local Program Gherau Divisional offices on Monday ask them to cooperate and stop work we also stage dharma at Delhi on Monday with near by circles. Further improve strike tomorrow.

Bihar comrades staged three hours dharna before Patna residence of Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad honable minister for communication and it .Mrs.prasad received memorandum and met a delegation.she assured that our case is genuine and she would speak to the minister at night.

PRESS STATEMENT

ALL INDIA GRAMIN DAK SEAKS INDEFINITE STRIKE FROM 10^TH MARCH, 2015

2.63 Lakhs Gramin Dak Sevaks in the Department of Posts will go on indefinite strike from 10^th March to achieve their demands said S.S. Mahadevaiah, General Secretary, All India Gramin Dak Sevaks union in a press statement. All India Gramin Dak Sevaks union served an indefinite strike notice along with three charters of demands on 6^th February, 2015. There is no positive response from the department of posts on any one of the demands. There is a written agreement dated 21.02.2014 to appoint a judiciary committee in case the Govt. of India denied to include the GDS wage structure and service condition in the purview of 7^th Central Pay Committee. The Govt. denied to include GDS in 7^th CPC in the month of November, 2014. Now the department of posts intentionally violated the agreement and took a decision to appoint an officer committee to examine wage structure and service conditions of Gramin Dak Sevaks. Hence Gramin Dak Sevaks are compelled to go on indefinite strike from 10^th March.

Charter of Demands

1. Regularize GDS employees and grant all benefits at par with

department employees.

2. Appoint Judiciary committee to examine wage structure and service

conditions of GDS.

3. Stop corporatization of postal department based on the report of task force committee.
